    Model Highlights

The 2020 Porsche Cayenne is available with three turbo-charged engine choices. The base Cayenne comes with a 3.0L V6 aided by a turbocharger, which is good for 335 horsepower. Cayenne S models get a slightly smaller 2.9L V6, but with two turbochargers for 434 horsepower. The most powerful engine available comes in the "Turbo" trim. The 4.0L V8 is good for 541 horsepower. Additionally, there are two different hybrid models available, the standard E-Hybrid, which slots between the base Cayenne and the Cayenne S and a more powerful Turbo S E-Hybrid, which sits at the top of the range. The standard E-Hybrid supplements the base 3.0L V6 with an electric motor for a total of 455 horsepower, with the Turbo S E-Hybrid uses an electric motor attached to the more powerful V8 for a total of 670 horsepower. All Cayenne models use an 8-speed automatic to send power to all four wheels. Putting all that performance together means all Cayenne's will go from 0-60 mph in under six seconds, with the Turbo S E-Hybrid model being the fastest with a 0-60 time of under 4 seconds. Making its debut on the Cayenne are Porsche Surface Coated Brakes that utilize tungsten carbide coating for the brake rotors to increase braking performance and overall lifespan. For those looking for the ultimate braking performance a set of carbon ceramic composite brakes are available as a modest $9000 option. For 2020, the Porsche Cayenne comes in one of two different body styles, each with similar trim levels and options. The Standard Cayenne still looks sleek for an SUV, but the new Cayenne coupe really brings an extra degree of aggressiveness and sporty styling to the Cayenne lineup. Buyers will have to pay a bit more money for the new body style, but the price gap is biggest at the bottom of the lineup, where a nearly $9000 price difference in the base models shrinks to less than $4,000 when comparing the Turbo Coupe to the standard Cayenne Turbo. Standard features on the base Cayenne include a 12.3 inch-infotainment screen, 19-inch wheels, a set of leather 8-way power seats, LED headlights, navigation, satellite radio, 10-speaker audio and a 4-year 50,000 mile warranty. Stepping into the Cayenne S adds 20-inch wheels, adaptive suspension, and a glass roof. With one more giant step forward into the Cayenne turbo you'll get a V8 twin turbo engine, 21-inch wheels, heated front and rear seats and an active rear spoiler. The options list is extensive and includes features that are driving the future of transportation. Unlike most adaptive cruise control functionality that typically only uses radar sensors and live cameras, Porsche's InnoDrive system uses a combination of navigation, map and topography to determine ideal gear selection and speed that is appropriate for upcoming corners and grade changes. Porsche has also done its best to make sure that the Cayenne is an extremely safe and a technologically advanced vehicle. The Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control system utilizes electronically adjusted anti roll-bars and paired with Porsche Adaptive Suspension Management that essentially converts the entire suspension apparatus to an entirely electromechanical system, resulting in surprisingly sharp handling for a vehicle of this size. Of course standard safety features not found on more advanced models it still extensive and includes collision warning that eventually applies the brakes, active lane assist, self-parking, and systems that can alert a driver to sleepiness and stop the vehicle in an emergency and call for help.
